The single-nucleus RNA-seq dataset from Lake et al. (2023) Nature.
This atlas is an integrated collection of over 260K cells, derived from single-cell RNA-seq data of the human retina. These retinal cells have been categorized into 10 major classes.
The main parenchymal liver cells responsible for metabolism, detoxification, and protein synthesis. These are version 1 cell type labels and may be subject to change.
We identified 5 cell types of retinal pigment epithelial cell from 69,244 snRNA-seq cells derived from posterior segment of human eye.
Innate immune cells including macrophages and dendritic cells, key in tissue homeostasis and immune surveillance. These are version 1 cell type labels and may be subject to change.
Cells annotated as Lymphoid cells (105,790) in larger dataset were isolated and reclustered using Total VI. Corresponding to Figure S5E in publication.
CD45- structural cells/nuclei (15,481) were identified in larger dataset of all cells, isolated and reclustered with scVI. Corresponds to Figure 5A in publication.
